Glass Art designs-Colorado
I love doing original, collaborative stained glass (lead or copper foil) and fused glass designs for your home or as personalized gifts for friends & family. Each of the designs visualized on this and the following pages was created in tandem with the purchaser as part of the process, or unique ideas that I developed over a series of explorations to bring my personal ideas to life through Glass Art Designs. These projects are available to enhance your home, office or religious/spiritual organization.

This privacy window was a collaborative effort between artist and the clients. The client had a very specific idea of what she wanted and it required that we integrate several images together to create a balanced project. The color choices were left to the artist and the Iris’s and butterfly allowed for some creative glass color/texture options. This is a great example of how the combined efforts of everyone involved can achieve a stunning result!
This piece was completed for another one of my stained glass students Leslie smith, as a commissioned four panel set. This is the first piece “Wintry night” inspired by the Maroon bells, rather than making a literal piece, we went a bit more conceptual. the four panel set will represent different times of day and seasons.
This piece Was completed collaboratively with Janet and Paul Bartel who were in one of my first Stained glass Classes. They wanted to complete this sidelights project for their home but were hesitant to take on such a venture on their own being only the second glass project they engaged. We decided to share the project and after we worked together on a design that they liked, I produced the left half and they completed the right. I’d say they did an amazing job and are well on their way to becoming terrific solo artists! This was great Fun.
The unique piece below was developed in collaboration with the homeowner and took almost 2 years to complete from start to finish. There are 500+ pieces of glass that were collected over time to meet the purchasers expectations. The final project measures 28” x 47.5”
